Abstract:The effect of N application on hay yield,yield components and N content of oat,and the optimumapplication amount and N use efficiency of N fertilizer were studied in Horqin sandy land.The treatment of Napplication was designed as CK (0),70,140,210 and 280 kg/ha (pure nitrogen).The results showed that regressionequation of oat hay yield and N fertilizer application was y=-0.085 3x2+35.774x+4 584,and theyield reached the highest (8 201 kg/ha) under the treatment of 209.7 kg/ha.Under the treatment of 210 kg/ha,the highest economic benefit was obtained,which was increased by 6 174.86 yuan/ha compared to the control.Under 210 kg/ha treatment,the contribution rate of N fertilizer was the highest,and the dependence rate wasthe lowest.With the increase of N fertilizing rate,the agronomic use rate of N fertilizer,N uptake efficiency,Nphysiological efficiency and N partial productivity decreased.Therefore,the N utilization rate
