Abstract:4-year-old Elymus sibiricus cv.Qingmu No.1 was used as materials.Six gradients of nitrogen(pure nitrogen) were set up in one-time ditching and fertilizing treatment during the green returning period.Thegradients of nitrogen application were 0,45,60,75,90 and 105 kg/hm2,respectively.By measuring the total carbonand nitrogen contents of roots, stems, leaves and spikes at jointing, flowering and mature stages,In order todefine the effects of different nitrogen treatments on the carbon and nitrogen distribution of the Elymus sibiricuscv. The results showed that the total carbon content of stem, leaf and spike of Qingmu No.1 was the highestat 75 kg/hm2,which was 11.0%,12.1% and 4.9% higher than that of the control.Under 75 kg/hm2 treatment, the total nitrogen content of root and spike reached the highest level at jointing stage and flowering stagerespectively, which was 32.0% and 16.3% higher than that of the control at the same period.Under 105 kg/hm2 treatment, the total nitrogen content of stem and leaf reached the highest level at flowering stage and jointingstage respectively, which was 57.5% higher than that of the control at the same period.
