Abstract:Composting technology converts agricultural waste into organic matter resources,which in turnprovide nutrients for plant growth.In this study,corn stalk,rice husk,chicken manure and cow dung were usedas raw material for high temperature aerobic composting in pairs.The physicochemical properties of the heapand compost products during the composting process were determined.The results showed that the peak temperatureof chicken manure with stalk treatment was higher and the high temperature lasts longer,the pH of thefinal composting products of the two treatments containing chicken manure was reduced to 7.54 and 7.73,lowerthan that of the treatments containing cow dung(8.46 and 8.09),indicating that the degree of maturity of chickenmanure with stalk was higher than that of cow dung and rice husk;the evaluation of organic matter contentand total nutrient content of composting products showed that all indexes of chicken manure with stalk treatmentreached grade A.Therefore,the compost with stalk and chicken manure or cow dung has high degree ofmaturity,good nutritional properties and application effect,which is suitable for promotion and application inagricultural production.
