Abstract:By exploring the diversity of salt-tolerant bacteria in lucerne seed,a number of salt-tolerant bacteriaresources were screened out in this study.Medicago sativa var.creno was selected as the test sample.Salttolerantseed-borne bacteria of alfalfa were isolated and purified by dilution coating method and plate markingmethod.Four salt-tolerant bacteria(RN1,RN2,RN3 and RN4) were isolated in saline medium with differentconcentration gradients and their salt-tolerance was 3% NaCl,5% NaCl,5% NaCl and 9% NaCl respectively.Combined with the phenotypic characteristics and 16S rDNA gene sequence,they were identified as genus membersof Bacillus sp.,Erwinia sp.,B.sp.and Staphylococcus sp.This study provides bacterial resources for furtherdevelopment and utilization of functional bacteria suitable for saline-alkali land improvement.
