Abstract:Collected 1960 sets of data from 73 literatures on the effects of nitrogen and phosphorus addition on natural grassland soil chemistry from 2000 to 2020,and analyzed the response of natural grassland soil chemical properties to nitrogen and phosphorus additions using the method of meta-analysis,and analyzed the correlation between the effect values of natural grassland soil chemical properties and environmental factors under nitrogen addition, phosphorus addition, nitrogen and phosphorus simultaneous addition. The results showed that under the conditions of simultaneous addition of nitrogen, phosphorus, and adding nitrogen or phosphorus alone, the soil water content and pH were significantly reduced, and the total soil nitrogen and available phosphorus were significantly increased, while the increase of soil total nitrogen and available phosphorus under the conditions of simultaneous addition of nitrogen and phosphorus was greater than the case of adding nitrogen or phosphorus alone.Under the condition of adding nitrogen, soil total nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, and microbial biomass carbon all increased significantly, while soil organic carbon, total phosphorus, and soluble organic carbon all decreased significantly. The effect value of soil pH showed a significant negative correlation with the effect value of soil organic carbon, ammonium nitrogen, available phosphorus and soluble organic nitrogen (P<0.05),and the effect value of soil ammonium nitrogen and soluble organic carbon showed a significant negative correlation (P<0.05).Under the condition of adding phosphorus, soil total phosphorus, soluble organic nitrogen, and microbial biomass carbon all increased significantly, and soil nitrate nitrogen decreased significantly. The effect value of soil available phosphorus was significantly positively correlated with the effect value of soil pH,soil organic carbon, and total phosphorus (P<0.05).Under the conditions of simultaneous addition of nitrogen and phosphorus, soil total phosphorus and soluble organic carbon both increased significantly, and soil organic carbon and microbial biomass carbon decreased significantly. The effect value of soil soluble organic carbon was significantly positively correlated with the effect value of total phosphorus and nitrate nitrogen, while negatively correlated with the effect value of ammonium nitrogen (P<0.05).The correlation between the effect values of grassland soil chemical properties and climate factors found that under the conditions of simultaneous addition of nitrogen, phosphorus, and adding nitrogen or phosphorus alone, the annual average temperature would significantly affect the soil microbial biomass carbon. When nitrogen and phosphorus were added separately, both the annual average temperature and the annual average precipitation would significantly affect the soil soluble organic nitrogen.
