Abstract:To investigate the effect of saline-alkali stress on the seedlings growth of Helianthus tuberosus,we determined the content of chlorophyll, proline,Na+,and K+ in seedlings under different saline-alkali stress conditions .The results showed that the content of chlorophyll decreased under the influence of saline-alkali stress, and showed a downward trend as the concentration of saline-alkali solution increased.Under combination of pH10+300 mmol/L,the content of chlorophyll was the lowest;the content of proline increased as the concentration of saline-alkali solution increased, and decreased under high concentration of saline-alkali treatment, the content of proline in each organ was the highest in the pH7+300 mmol/L、pH8+300 mmol/L,and pH10+300 mmol/L treatment;the content of Na+ increased as the concentration of saline-alkali solution increased, the content of Na+ in each organ was the highest in the pH7+300 mmol/L、pH8+300 mmol/L,and pH10+300 mmol/L treatment;the content of K+ decreased under the influence of saline-alkali stress, and showed a downward trend as the concentration increased. The content of K+ in each organ was the lowest in the pH7+300 mmol/L and pH10+300 mmol/L treatment. Therefore, the seedlings of Helianthus tuberosus adjusted the content of chlorophyll, proline,Na+,and K+ under salt-alkali stress to increase their resistance.
