Abstract:In this study, ryegrass Nagahahikari and Tego were selected as test materials to explore the effects of different concentrations of exogenous salicylic acid(SA)(0.3,0.6 mmol/L) on the growth physiology and chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics of ryegrass under aluminum stress. The results show that the appropriate concentration of SA(0.6 mmol/L) under aluminum stress can significantly increase the root length, underground biomass, chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,total chlorophyll and fluorescence parameters Fo,Fm,φEo,δRo,ψEo value(P<0.05),and significantly enhance the superoxide dismutase(SOD) and peroxidase(POD) activities(P<0.05),and significantly reduce the Al3+enrichment,relative conductivity and malondioxide in ryegrass Aldehyde(MDA) content(P<0.05),significantly increased the soluble protein content of ryegrass Nagahahikari and the extremely high soluble sugar content of ryegrass(P<0.05).This study shows that the addition of appropriate concentration of exogenous SA under aluminum stress can effectively alleviate the toxic effect of aluminum stress on ryegrass, and the mitigation effect of SA on ryegrass is different
